I feel it coming…a sore throat, sniffles and more.
This post is going to be short today as I’m feeling a wee bit under the weather. Scratchy throat, really lethargic and weepy eyes. If I just let my body rest it should all be fine.
I feel it coming…HOLIDAYS!!
There are 33 days until we head to the coast for our annual holidays…AND I CAN’T WAIT!! But…we have to get through the last term of school first. My boys are already in holiday mode. I can’t get them motivated for anything. Their rooms have been a disgrace and it takes a cattle prod to get them to do their chores. I have taken their devices off them so often that I might as well keep them (HA HA HA!!). So, with a cattle prod in my hand, I will struggle through the next 33 days and hopefully have perfect beach weather waiting for us.
I feel it coming…A Style Setter Tribute and a casual outfit.
A very good friend of mine who I met on Goodreads has a book release next week (review will be posted in the next day or two). Vines (The Killers Book 1) by Brynne Asher was an awesome story set in the Virginia countryside. Addy owns a vineyard and works hard to make it a success. Her new neighbour Crew Vega, meets her as she’s taking her cows for a walk. Both Addy and Crew have had pasts that they are trying hard to move on from.
The Style Setter Tribute was created for an outfit Addy wears when she’s invited to a dinner at The White House that’s featuring her wine. The outfit was described as silver from top to toe and the dress was described as platinum. I couldn’t get it exactly right, but I loved this dress so much that I thought I’d take some artistic licence.
The second outfit was created when I was feeling a little sluggish. It’s definitely something I would wear when I don’t want to get too dressed up…and maybe if I was having a bad hair day. 😉
I feel it coming…Reading what I want.
I am so close to having my ARC’s up to date. If you’ve sent me a book and I haven’t read and reviewed it yet, I’m sorry for the delay. I have a schedule I’m trying to stick to at the moment, so please bear with me. I am trying to read one book per week (usually on the weekend) from the HUGE amount of books that I have purchased but not had time to read.
Up next from books I’ve purchased…Wolfsong by T.J. Klune. Now, this one has been recommended to me by book friends who claim that it is AWESOME. I don’t read a lot of M/M but I do enjoy Paranormal, so I trust my friends to not lead me astray.
I feel it coming…Parting is such sweet sorrow.
Well, that is it for me this week. Not a lot I know, but I promise to be back in the game next week.
